Katie Newton
Katie brings to Bertner Advisors five years of experience in the tech start-up world, as well as a passion for building corporate operations processes and for spearheading the development of a positive corporate organizational health. Katie has a keen ability to build out the early stages of company initiatives and programs and then cultivate them throughout an organization’s transformations and growth. She works alongside Sherry in driving operational excellence and in managing the team member experience.
Prior to Bertner Advisors, Katie worked at tech startups LoyalBlocks and jet.com, where her roles included office management, culture, and events management, including everything from internal team meetings to Board meetings.  
Katie earned her BA in History from Concordia University in Montreal, QC, Canada.

Lena Adams

Lena Adams brings to our Firm over 20 years of multi-faceted Investor Relations and Strategic Communications experience, the last six years of which were focused on the health care sector. Prior to joining our team, Lena actually worked directly with Sherry for four years at a financial communications firm. She works with Sherry in driving our Firm's Knowledge Architecture.

During Lena's Investor Relations career, she has been actively involved in developing and executing IR programs for both public and pre-IPO health care companies.

Lena received her MBA with an emphasis in Finance from the Graziado School of Business & Management at Pepperdine University.  She holds both a BS in Chemistry and a BA in Journalism from the State University of Minsk, Belarus.

David Osborne

David Osborne has been a leading force on the team driving the development of our systems and processes since the inception of our Firm.

He brings with him over seven years of technical and leadership experience with Apple, Inc., including in both the Genius and Creative (Trainer) roles.  David was selected as a member of the opening team for the Grand Central Apple Store, the second largest Apple store in the world, in 2011, where he assisted many business clients in utilizing and equipping their iOS and Mac OS X platforms.  While in the Genius role, David was called to Apple headquarters in Cupertino, CA for further advanced training, receiving his Mac Service Certification in 2014.  Returning to New York, he exercised consistent problem-solving and coaching skills to isolate hardware and software issues, as well as continued to educate clients to use their technology to optimize the pursuit of their business goals. 

David earned his BA in Communications  from the California State University in Fullerton in 2007.
